Background Information:

A Maine native, Emily earned her J.D., from the University of Maine School of Law. While in law school Emily was a Maine Association of Public Interest Law Fellow as well as an intern at the Conservation Law Foundation. She also served as an extern with the University Counsel for The University of Maine System. Emily holds a B.S. in Environmental Education from Unity College.

A member of the Maine Bar since 2004, her experience includes serving as the Vice President of Operations for a Southern Maine construction firm, helping the company to grow into a multi-million dollar operation; serving as a Legal Reference Librarian at the Garbrecht Law Library at the University of Maine School of Law; and performing data analysis and program evaluation for the Maine Department of Health and Human Resources, Office of Integrated Services/ Quality Improvement. Emily served as a Senior Planner with the Land Use Regulation Commission, where she managed both large and small development project applications, writing permits and making recommendations to the Commission.
